Trail to a Cure Ride/Walk/Run Event

Trail to a Cure's primary reason for being is the annual Trail to a Cure Bike Ride/Walk/Run fundraising event in MEMORY of those we've lost to HIV/AIDS, in HONOR of those living with HIV/AIDS, and in HOPE of finding a cure.

The fourth annual TTAC event will be held on the Katy Trail in Rocheport, Missouri on Saturday, May 7, 2011 from 10 am* to 2 pm, and include a ride/walk/run and a post-event celebration beginning at 2 pm at Les Bourgeois Winery and Bistro's A-frame.

*We have added a longer 50-mile ride which has an earlier start time. Check the event participant packet for details.

Participate!

Please download the event participant packet (PDF format) for all the details about walking, running, or riding your bike for the cause.

There are several options for participants of all ages and skill levels to chose from.

There are various distances, so even less-athletic or experienced participants may get involved, including young people and children.

The simplest and most beneficial way to start raising funds for the event is to use our online fundraising service through Firstgiving.com. Click the image below.

All donations are tax deductible, and 100% of funds raised by participants go the the event's beneficiaries working to find a cure for HIV/AIDS and helping those living with HIV/AIDS in central Missouri.

Volunteers are needed to help before, during, and after the event. See our Get Involved page for specific needs.

Volunteers are also eligible to raise funds as participants.
