Feast 2 FIGHT AIDS & Other Fundraisers

Feast 2 FIGHT AIDS

Feast 2 FIGHT AIDS fundraisers are regularly-scheduled events that Trail to a Cure sponsors on a monthly basis, typically on the first Wednesday of the month. F2FA events are held in partnership with a sponsoring restaurant that agrees to designate a day as F2FA day for their establishment.

TTAC posts the F2FA flyer on this web site and emails it to the TTAC email list.

F2FA participants take the event's flyer with them, visit the restaurant during regular business hours, enjoy food and beverages, and present their server/bartender with the F2FA flyer. The business owner then tallies up the amount spent by F2FA participants, and sends Trail to a Cure a check for 15% of the amount spent, according to the F2FA agreement.

F2FA partner restaurants are listed on our web site as organizational sponsors.

Organizational Fundraising Successes...

Thank you to those who have helped with our recent fundraisers!

Thanks to Les Bourgeois for hosting a Feast 2 FIGHT AIDS event on Wednesday, June 4, where TTAC presented Rain with a check from the May 4 ride/walk/run, and TTAC recognized the top fundraisers (Angie Rush, offline; Joan Goodwin, online; and MU Psychology, team). See the news item dated June 4 for the full story.

A big thanks to the team at SoCo Club for the TTAC fundraiser show on Thursday, April 24, 2008. Your support (raising $975!) helped make the BIG EVENT on May 4 possible!

Thanks to all of you, inlcuding Columbia's Mayor Darwin Hindman, for stopping by our booth at Earth Day! We appreciate your support!

Thank you to those who joined us at Tellers Gallery & Bar for another Feast 2 FIGHT AIDS fundraiser on Wednesday, April 16, 2008, where we raised $75.

We raised over $1,000 at the Retro Prom fundraiser at the Arch & Column Pub on Friday, April 4, 2008.

We raised $500 at the Kings, Inc. fundraiser at SoCo Club on Friday, March 21, 2008.

We raised $288 at the first "Feast 2 FIGHT AIDS" fundraiser at Addison's/Sophia's. That will help ensure that all our TTAC Event participants' money is passed along to the cause. And our friends at the restaurants noticed almost 40 additional tickets went through their cash registers--a win/win situation for all.

We raised $102 at the AIDS Quilt event at Missouri United Methodist Church on January 26, 2008.

We raised approximately $400 during our World AIDS Day fundraiser on December 1, 2007 at Arch & Column Pub.

Our Shakespeare's Pizza fundraiser on November 28, 2007 raised $130.

Our fundraiser in September at SoCo Club raised approximately $1,000.

Each of our smaller fundraising events helps to make the

Trail to a Cure Ride/Walk/Run event possible.
