Trail to a Cure Submits Federal Tax Exemption Application

After several months of work and fundraising, Trail to a Cure, Inc.'s Board members completed all of the necessary paperwork to submit to the IRS in order to gain official federal tax exemption under section 501(c)(3) of the federal tax code.

TTAC's legal counsel has suggested that it may take as much as four months for the tax exemption to be approved.

Upon official approval, donations to TTAC will be eligible for federal income tax deductability. TTAC does not provide tax advice. Donors should contact a tax attorney for consultation.
